Cynthia Milton's 'Dirty Weekend 2004'. Twenty plus riders
came along for the 2nd Dirty Weekend - some came on real dirt bikes and
some brought their BMW's to play. It was more like a World Travellers
meeting than a Club Do with a number of real travellers there including
Chris Bright who treated us to a slide show and talk of his RTW trip.
Cynthia gave some basic lessons learned from BMW's off road course to
some, including the approved methods of picking up a fallen bike and how
to ride sidesaddle (ie. right foot on the left footrest). You should
have seen our faces at the suggestion :-( but after a while, all that
tried were riding sidesaddle at will and loved every minute of it :-)
Thanks to Cynth for that - someone else will be running the weekend next
year as Cynth will be on her own Round The World. |
